She stood by the window

She sang out to the wind,

a breeze catching the notes.

"You cannot sing, you have all the words wrong" 

the woman told her.

"But I must, I have been told to.

It is not the words 

but the intention that counts".

"Who told you?" said the woman...

"My own voice said so.

And my voice belongs to all."

She stood by the open window

and sang the song 

she felt was the song to sing.

I wander through the mists of time....glimpses of another life, another person. The mist lies as a gossamer covering over the land...time is all one here in this place...time and space come together.

Looking down into the chasm.

Sometimes we keep to the familiar, afraid to stray from the path.  We stick with people who think the same way and we feel comfortable with.  Then something happens to shake the ground under our feet, make us stumble and question ourselves.

As I sit here and listen to some of my favourite classical music, it leads me to sit back a look at the way music leads us down differing paths. I always see a story in classical music...I just get out of my head and meander along the path the music leads me...be it skipping off over delicate dandelion heads with the fairies....water flowing over rocks and pebbles in a little stream....thunder roaring across the open moors, dark and brooding.

As I crawl into the meandering laneways inside my mind I ponder on wisdom of ancients.

I wander around ideas and sounds and chatter and visions. Wandering lazily in my own dream time.

I hear the noise outside of me, talking, shouting, blaring music, TV, dogs bark. I crawl deeper and deeper inside to look and see what I can see, what I can feel, who I can feel.
