Music of Life

As I sit here and listen to some of my favourite classical music, it leads me to sit back a look at the way music leads us down differing paths. I always see a story in classical music...I just get out of my head and meander along the path the music leads me...be it skipping off over delicate dandelion heads with the fairies....water flowing over rocks and pebbles in a little stream....thunder roaring across the open moors, dark and brooding.
Music tells us a story...of love, of pain, of laughter and sheer unadulterated joy! It can bring down to the depths or lift us back out of them again, allowing our hearts and spirits to soar great heights like the great Condors over the mighty Andes!
Music can calm the savage beast or become a call to arms!

Music is life...it reflects all we are and tells us who we can become.

I studied classical music in school and we were blessed to have a music teacher who taught us to read musical orchestral manuscripts like a storybook...following each different instrument like characters in your favourite novel.
Thank you Miss Cole for giving me my love of music and teaching me to learn to truly hear the music with my heart and not my head for it is created from spirit and not mind!

And me.  I think I could cope with just about anything in this life as long as I have my music....all the while remembering the Universe is full of the music of Life :)
