True Self

As I crawl into the meandering laneways inside my mind I ponder on wisdom of ancients.
I wander around ideas and sounds and chatter and visions. Wandering lazily in my own dream time.
I hear the noise outside of me, talking, shouting, blaring music, TV, dogs bark. I crawl deeper and deeper inside to look and see what I can see, what I can feel, who I can feel.
The one person we all have to face sometimes is the hardest one to truly look at - ourselves, our True Self!
Can I stand in front of me and be analytical, truthful, objective? Can I feel who I am truly?
I have finally realised after fifty one years in this lifetime, I can. I can look and examine under any microscope. I have done my apprenticeship and passed my exams. I have faced adversities and although battered and scarred, I am still here, against the odds.
I have earned the right to speak my truth and if people don't want to hear it, its fine. But I am always going to be true to who I am.
I can dare to face me.....can you?
