Lost

Sometimes we keep to the familiar, afraid to stray from the path.  We stick with people who think the same way and we feel comfortable with.  Then something happens to shake the ground under our feet, make us stumble and question ourselves. 

Do we take the path we have been on all this time and stick to what we know?  Or do we take a new path, unfamiliar territory and chance upon new acquaintances, new adventures?

It is easy to stay with what is safe and familiar, but does it allow for growth?  Do we get an opportunity to develop and move forward?

I don't feel this is so.

I feel to move forward is to sometimes take a 'leap of faith'.  Sure it can be scary!  But while it looks like you are standing on a precipice, in reality, very often it is just like stepping off the footpath.

Our perceptions of what is going to happen is what creates the fear, rarely the reality.

Go on, take a chance, take a different track and get lost occasionally!!
