Similarities Between Empaths and Mediums

Are there similarities between empaths and mediums? I believe so. Empaths are hypersensitive to the feelings of people and sometimes animals that are in the same general area. They are able to manipulate this energy into their own mental construct as if it was something they are feeling themselves. Mediums on the other hand, are capable of tuning in to a frequency that is of a higher nature and spiritual in its essence translating that info into something they can understand.

     In my opinion, those two seemingly different forms of experiencing energy communication are fairly similar. An Empath and a medium are both receiving this information in the frontal lobe of the brain and being fed through a spiritual entanglement for the brain to interpret. The only difference between the two is the fine tuning with which these energies are being perceived.

     If this is true, then an empath should be able with a little practice, to readjust their spiritual receptors and activate a link between the physical dimension and the higher frequency spiritual realm and experience that energy the same way they receive their empathic messages. My guess, the best way to do this would be through meditation.

Interesting! I had to think about your comment for a while. I have some ability in all three areas of psychic sense in my article above. I believe that everyone has some psychic ability but of course not sure how far that reaches. My medium ability pretty much only exhibits itself when I'm in that in-between state of asleep and awake. If I could reach the same state of consciousness while fully awake, I believe I could be a very strong medium because when it happens, I get very clear precise messages. I'm still thinking about your comment, that not all psychics are mediums? When we're discussing psychic phenomena, it's very hard to draw the line between where one ability, or frequency, ends the others begin. I'll have to give this more thought. All mediums are psychics (empaths), but not all psychics are mediums. Thas wha I was told, at least.
