Universal Lessons

Sometimes we all experience rough times in our lives. These could be on a personal level, or from our work, or something else. When we hit times like this it's very easy to sit back and say this is at fault or that is to blame. I know, I have done it.
What I have found is a better way for me to deal with it, is to try and step back emotionally from the situation and see what is really being reflected for me.

The Universe, God or whatever is your belief system, gives us lessons on a continual basis, to push us to grow and learn and become who we are meant to be. I also believe in karma and if we are continually going to play the blame game, then we will invite this to come back to us, in order to allow us to learn to take some responsibility for our own actions.
Yes of course in life, we meet people who are going through their own issues and lessons to learn, we are all imperfect humans, but we do need to take responsibility for our actions and behaviour.

My own rule of thumb, that has taken me many years to learn, is simple. I just try to treat all people how I want to be treated by others. For the most part, I receive this back. Now and then I will meet someone just starting on their journey and they choose to remain in a place of ignorance and self loathing. In this case I walk away acknowledging where they are but always wishing them well on their journey.
It's not easy.....believe me I have frequently bitten my tongue but if I am the person I hope I am becoming, then I need to walk my walk and not just talk the talk.

Yes, it has been a rough couple of weeks on many levels. I thank the Universe for the lessons shown and I wish love and peace to all.
I then go home and kick the crap out of a pillow!!! lol Yes, I am still human!
