We sat around the fire, darkness consuming all about us outside the circle....a circle of twelve....entities you could call them but I see them as friends, family. Earth beneath us, fire warming us, air keeping us alive and water quenching us.

One thing about the summer solstice and can apply equally to the winter one....it is a time for endings and new beginnings.  The group of ladies I meet with on Wednesdays for a meditation circle, had a major energy clearing this week. I asked them to do the following exercise to help the higher self deal with, and rid itself of, old issues/feelings.

I gave them all 2 sheets of paper and a pen.  On one sheet, I asked them all the things they feel are currently negative for them -…

Let the magic happen. It's always there. Abundance and love are always there.

Believe in the highest good. There is a higher essence to everything.

The realm you're in has a heaviness that mutes energy. You can penetrate through it, no matter how dark and heavy. Sometimes it has nothing to do with karma. Just don't forget to keep it open.

Don't get too bogged down, don't limit the brightness. Reach through the dark energy and grab it.

To learn to truly look at who you are.

See yourself as others see you and not with your clouded damaged view, this is the way forward.

Many times I have heard/see/felt things and second guessed myself as to if it was imagination or real. This has occurred since I was a child and as a child, I was told it was imagination. As I am no longer a child, is what I am aware of still imagination?

Sometimes we keep to the familiar, afraid to stray from the path.  We stick with people who think the same way and we feel comfortable with.  Then something happens to shake the ground under our feet, make us stumble and question ourselves. 

Do we take the path we have been on all this time and stick to what we know?  Or do we take a new path, unfamiliar territory and chance upon new acquaintances, new adventures?

It is easy to stay with what is safe and familiar, but does it…

Life is a never ending circle that turns and twists like a meandering river....winding its way slowly through the landscape. Sometime the river runs smooth and calm and other times it runs over rocks and boulders...forcing things floating on its surface to change course.

It can run hard and fast or slow and calm with hidden objects beneath the surface that can catch us by surprise and unawares if we do not pay attention.

Hmm....I have been pondering much on what those two little words actually mean...this life. Does it mean all that I am and have been? Does it mean this incarnation? Does it mean my whole Universal family or me as an individual....? As I sit here and listen to some of my favourite classical music, it leads me to sit back a look at the way music leads us down differing paths.
