A Letter From the Ancestors



Children of the Earth,

From

time to time, we visit,

and when you ask for guidance, we come.

Things

are not looking so good there,

and we wanted to let you know

how much we appreciate all those of you

who give their best to Earth Mother.

We come

to honour the Fae, the Earth Angels, and all who have returned

in order to be

beacons of light here.

When I saw this picture a friend posted today, I had to stop and

pause.

All I could think in that moment, is that I am related to that

delicate self propelled flower.

I saw myself in him and realized that

sometimes we forget our own beauty, sometimes old

wounds ache and we turn

away from our own radiance.

This is my last journey here, I am glad of it.

The road has been rough and

rocky. Much loss and some gain.

I spent the night at the river,

I didn't mean to, but as I was walking  along the banks,

I found a small wild patch..... "like me", I  thought

Untamed grass, yellow wild flowers and soft willows grew wherever  they chose to

I lay down in them and waited for the sun to go down.

And when it did, once more, the night sky came alive with light.

Great makers,

See me, I am your child, sword and light.

I am come to this foreign shore once more

to lend my strength.

Forgive my occasional weariness and doubting,

it is a difficult battle.

The Mother is under seige from every direction,

Her air tainted and hard to breathe,

her waters polluted, and land going to waste

so that many go hungry.

Tall sentrys stand everywhere, emitting invisible arrows
