The Willow Tree

Those of you who cannot see The living poetry of a tree,
are bound on every side of heart,
to dwell in ignorance, strife and dark.
You wander, plundering, raping land,
and by your cruel and cutting hand,
make the Earth a sadder place,
for all your want and lack of grace.
No wonder why the faeries fled,
and from your view are kept,
No wonder at the harm you do,
and why the willow wept
