I was there watching

I remember the smiles

The twinkle in their eyes

Twas the edge of the emerald forest  it was 

Where they danced in the twilight of the morn!

It was only yesterday -----  but I was there

Dancing along with them !!!

No,, no  it was not a dream

We held hands as I  heard 

The  temple bells  ring out 

In the cool  summer  breeze 

The night shadows  danced on the winds 

No,,,,   it was not a dream !!! 

Songs from the sea whispered by

As I caught the light from the diamonds

No,,,,, they were not dew drops 

The unicorn from the emerald forest 

   told me so !!!!

Was it just a lullaby  from yesterday

 No ,, it could not be  for I was there 

 dancing along with them ,,, I remember !!!

Shamans, medicine people, our chants are our poetry as well as our dances.

Each time your foot touches the earth, it is a kiss, it is a prayer of gratitude

We use our voices (chant) the wind horse (drum) and the rattle to break though the veils with sound in order to see and make contact with the spirits. Mother earth acts as the conduit...

Ceremony connects us to ourselves, al all the universe.

It is a Healing and Cleansing song for warriors returning from war

 

Let us eclipse the sun and moon with our spiritual and emotional being

and let us transcend these physical barriers

that have made us a nation of one.

May the winds of time put into motion,

this feeling we share with our Mother Earth,

and this Universe, until the end of time.

May the Creator bestow upon us,

a grand sense of unity and peace,

which we will continue to pass on

to our people, wherever they reside
