The premise is simple. An image is posted and we respond to it in poetry. I will start off with my own response which in NO WAY establishes a theme as the idea is the DIFFERENT places the same image can take us.  marK

If only I were stronger

I would still be in their hands.

Had I not

These dents and scratches

I'd be loved.

If only my song were sweeter

Thank you marK.  You are most kind. And quite inspiring!  Thank you for the challenges..It has been so long since I sat down and wrote...mostly due to raising a gaggle of kids.  But what a way to get back into it! I feel blessed to be amongst such amazing folk.
