SHINE 

Try to leave something behind 

That will shimmer

And shine for others

Another friendly lighthouse 

Along the dark way

The weight carried a burden it would seem

By the light of the waning moon

Is only to me a carry of beams

Silver and full of love's bloom

To find the perpetual pot of gold

So many speak of in tales

I find is not of gold or jewels

But the light of Divinity beaming forth from the pail.

                                                            as i wait for you to

                                                            while i work on the fields

                                                             my body. s

                                                            as i stand and here and wait

                                                            for you to open up my door

It took me a few days to get to this, but here is my offering:

Long has been my walk
Through lands unfamiliar and dry.
Arriving here,
I find no sumptuous fare,
No mellowing wine,
No carpets plush nor cushioned chair.
Yet even in this barren place, there is the light of Mystery.
My bones ache,
But I have solace, and am comforted.

It's nice to see the various moods people have drawn from this picture. It's also simply an intriguing picture, in and of itself.
