The sea is so vast

"O lord, your sea is so vast and my boat is so small"

How will I reach the shore safely?

The raging storm that my life has bcome,

seems it will soon overtake me,

I ask that your mighty hand guide me,and steer my small boat,

Lead my spirit to still, quiet water.

Calm my fears, dry my tears

and give safe passage home,

please brng peace to your spiritual daughter.

Ocean rhythms 

 

The ocean is vast and wide

It ebbs and flows ceaselessly

It plays a melody using the surf

playing a tune of children playing

A song of thanks for the golden sun

She that bejewels her with golden flecks

The rhythm of surf greets the moon

that covers her with silver strands at night

the ocean speaks softly to those that listen

and roars with heavy waves that crush the deaf

I sit here on the dune and listen to her symphony
