To Live in Balance

As I sit here thinking I am brought into awareness of a thought.  That we must never forget who we are.

 

That we should never live too focused in physicality and materialistic needs and desires that we forget that we are so much more than the reality that we perceive.  That we should never live too focused in our energetic existence and spirituality that we forget to live in the physical reality.

 

But to balance our understanding of our existence so that both may enhance our experience. 

 

To know that we are energetic beings living and experiencing a physical state of existence.  To remember this is to remember that there is purpose and meaning to everything that happens in our lives.  If we forget one but not the other sometimes, things just don't feel right that we are always searching.  But to search is never a bad thing, for it is what helps us discover the wonders and mysteries of all that we are and the universe around us.

 

Life here on earth is not an easy one.  Often we are reminded at the difficulties that we as humans are faced with.  If we are stuck in just the physical mode we can be left feeling wondering if there is more to life than this.  If we are stuck in the spiritual mode we can miss the wonders that a physical life can offer us.  We have to find a way to be in both equally at the same time at the same moment because after all we are the sum of all that we are.
