Tavern Tale

[Kitt]

A younger fellow was at the pub... pounding down his drinks .. one after the other.... 

drunk.... and looking rather despaired.... and the waitress notices him.... and she asks him ..
"What seems to be the matter. you're always chatty and mellow with your drinks...are you having troubles ?"
.... and the lad says.. "I just failed my exams.. and now I won't be certified .. and I
needed that to land this job... I'm late on all my bills... I owe the bank for loans... I'll
probably be evicted by next month... and my girlfriend is going to be upset and probably leave me
when I tell her I spent the last of our money in here.. I'll probably never get out of this
town now.. "... and he starts crying....

So the waitress felt sorry... and she said... "Let me make you some coffee... you'll figure something out later" ... so she boils some water..... and the man rested his head on the bartop... and fell asleep.... and he started dreaming... and he dreamed that.. that he passed the test with flying colors... and.. he landed the position with the company... and... he married his girlfriend and they bought a nice home in the suburbs.. and a new vehicle and then he became a father to many beautiful and smart kids... and they grew up and became successful... and.. he traveled and did all these awesome things... until he grew old and died peacefully at home...... but then he woke up... and realized it was only a dream.... he then asked the waitress....

"You got that coffee ?" ...

and she said.. "No.. it's still brewing" ......

And what the story means.... is... problems and negative things... can make us feel stuck in
life.... where we don't see an end to them...... we might boil up about things... or...
drown our sorrows .. one beer at a time...... but then... we could also live an awesome 
lifetime and have it gone... in the time it takes to make a cup of coffee......
But the most valuable things we don't notice about living... end up being the things that
get us by the most...... like that waitress that made him the coffee was.......

You at your fullest potential .. isn't like a spilled beer.. or even the broken mug you're drinking it from on
the inside...(which can be a broken heart) it's actually brewing and getting stronger.... if you comes off too strong it
might make you sick.... and if it's too watered down.. it will have no effect........

it sucks when progress is put on a back burner.... but that is necessary to sober us to what we're set to
face...come the next day.. and the next moment.............

Remember that kindness can sugar things up...

and even love itself can change flavors.

Remain temperate and open to what the waitress of karma will serve you.

It's better to gain tips of wisdom than donations of gratitude.
