Before the wall of fire... The knight was standing brave...
He heard the Dragons fighting... And tearing down the cave...
Yet Morrowyn was still singing... and his armour then did glow...
Her voice was something magickal... like a stream of sparkled flow..
With an oath he stepped forth.. as the fires moved aside...
Bespelled from shattered beauty... he would take her for his bride...
The ground began to shake... the stones began to rattle...
The dragons coming nearer... embraced in epic battle...
Then Fafnir struck a fateful blow... the white dragon began to stumble...
As Valen crossed the raging fire... the falling cave was cracked by rumbles....
He swept the maid from off her feet ... and charged in to the fray...
The air was thick in dust and smoke ... that he could not find his way...
And lo, a voice was singing ... in a tongue that neither knew...
For it was a song by dragons .... ever heard of by so few....
A cold draft blew behind them ... as if leading them the way...

He prayed thanks back for Svendargan.... as he saw the light of day...

He carried forth his rescue ... across the crags and gaps...
Through roaring sounds of rocks and dragons ... The cave in mid collapse..
The princess woke upon the morning ... as if it all were just a dream...
The warmth of heaven shining brightly ... bringing freedom with the day...
valen greeted her so knightly .... that she could think of not to say....
