Her True Self

[L. Love]

Through the hidden veil
She looks at the world
as it goes about
its business.
Alone and unknown.
No-one can see her
looking, watching, waiting.

This veil of gossamer
hides her True Self
The part of her
that exists for all eternity.
This is the reality
amongst all the illusion.

She stretches her arms
as her wings unfold.
She rarely gets to do this
out there in the real world.
Only in the privacy
of her home can her True Self 
be free.

As she stands alone
she feels the world
in the core of her soul
weeping and crying out.
She is here to take
all the pain way from them.
She is here to hear them weep.

She extends her wings 
to thier fullest,
embracing all those 
within her reach.
Holding, nurturing and carressing.
Soothing and calming them.
She holds them in her love
her heart full.
Absorbing all the hurt, the pain,
the tears.
This is her True Self.
