Beloved M

A year passes tomorrow (10th May) since our little sister M left us.  Now she dances through the Temple Halls singing and laughing as she goes.  She dances among the stars.

I posted some pictures that M posted while she was here with us and as I looked through her pictures, looking at the comments we shared, the laughter and fun, I realised how hard it was to choose which ones to re-post for her anniversary.  I tried to pick ones that showed different aspects of her and those here that knew her, will hopefully approve of the ones I chose.

One thing I learned from M was to be myself.  Yes we all go through hardships and find things that can make our hearts heavy, and yet, she would always see the beauty, the love, the best of everything.  She was herself.  She was beautiful and loving and caring and always making sure to pick her words carefully, to make sure they made everyone feel good and uplifted.

She would talk of her beloved daddy, her beautiful family and the things that brought her joy.  It was summed up in the three words - Love, Life, Laughter.

I am honoured and blessed to have had her in my life. When I lost my own sister, M took her place in my heart.

She was my friend, my sister.  I loved her dearly and know she will always be in my heart.

I have since spoken with members of her family who have also honoured me with their compassion and caring.  I must also say something about Heather.  She has spoken with many of us and it is plain to see why M adored Heather and how like M she is.  Heather, thank you sweetie for your friendship.

A year on, I miss you M and will always love you my darling little sister.
