Alina toward the Middle, Before a New Begining, Intimacy

Alina

We had been courting Alina in high school for a short while, long enough to grow comfortable modelling for each other in the nude as we practiced our drawing skills together.

On one occasion we found Alina alone, tripping; she was a bit distressed which distressed us a bit in turn.

We had a firm rule among our friends to always maintain a safe, comfortable environment full of stimulating things to explore, abandoning Alina was contrary to our agreements together to use LSD as responsibly as possible.

We dropped some LSD and Alina came home with us.

We began to draw each other, a new enough experience for both of us that we were still both a little shy, but we were growing closer together by drawing together.

We knew Alina's biggest secret, or so we thought.

Alina's big secret may have been something other than what we already knew; we knew Alina had a powerful, wild, brief precognitive talent.  She could randomly, accurately describe perhaps as much as five to ten minutes into the future in extraordinary, seemingly immutable detail.

Details we could witness transpire within minutes of one of her trances.

On this afternoon we had both lain down our drawing pads and pencils and were laying head to head with our feet pointed off in opposite directions such that we leaned over Alina and might kiss her.

Alina seemed entirely comfortable; we began to approach her lips with our own.

A remarkable thing happened next.

Before we could touch we were inverted.

Suddenly, we lay upon the floor with our head on the red carpet looking up, rather than down.

We looked up and we saw Roger, the one who Alina knew as ourselves in those times.

Alina looked down and saw Alina.

We had exchanged bodies.

We gazed into our own eyes and saw Alina gazing out at us from within the depths of our eyes, as she gazed into her own eyes to see us gazing out of them at herself, seeing she was now in our body while we now seemed to be in her body.

After a moment of wonder, this began to frighten Alina, so we withdrew a little and withdrew into our own bodies.

This was the most intimate experience of our lives, but Alina feared we might learn her darker secret.

It was a little difficult to become intimate with each other again, although we have now been joined togther now for more than 36 years, years that seem like more than forever, many, many eternities...

Alina once helped us rob a bank, but that's another story...
