Ii would have written this out, however I feel the visual and the audial presentation befits this beautiful poem by Oriah Mountain Dreamer.

She is not an Indian Elder as the video begins. She lives in Toronto Ontario and took on the name at 30 years of age.

Oriah had become very ill and aftewards had a dream. Several elderly woman came to her in this dream and told her she must change her name in order to heal.

And so she did.

Oriah it seems does nothing the ordinary way!

I love her poem, "The Invitation"

It challenges the way we see ourselves and questions our personal perspective. on life, questions whether we think large or small. Do we move through the energy of life or become stagnant?

Do we think outside the box or better yet, understand... there is no box!
