Cougar Martin's Animal Rescue

One of our members,  Cougar Martin , is a dedicated animal activist, and runs a registered not for profit rescue in her home. Despite disability challenges and financial challenges, she devotes her time and resources rescuing animals in need.

She is not very good at reaching out to ask for assistance for supporting her endeveours, a highly empathic individual she is more comfortable with the company of animals and spends her time devoted to their cause.

If you are in the range of her rescue facility, and are looking for a furry, feathered, or scaled family member to adopt, please consider seeing which animals she has looking for forever homes.

If you are interesting in donating, she is a registered non-profit, and can provide you with that information, which will make any donations tax deductible.

I would like to use this thread to try to help the animals she has that are in need, and support Temple members who are working directly in fields of activism such as this.

Cougar Martin: "She's a red-tailed Boa Constrictor, about 9 feet long and is around 27 years old. We've had her since 1994. A rescue. A man had beaten his wife and stabbed her dog to death. He was gonna do the same for her snake that she loved and had raise from a baby, 10 inches long."

Cougar Martin: "Braveheart, the one at my shoulder was watchin' TV. They are shih tzu - minature dachound mix. Owner surrendered when 8 weeks old. Here they are 1 year old here. The little black one has crossed the rainbow bridge in august, a yorkie-bichon mix, with lots of birth defects and so tiny."

Cougar Martin: "Sunshine is an albino Burmese Python,about 5 years old and13 feet long. She's an owner surrender. The man that owned her was a GI on his way to Iraq, so couldn't keep her."
