Dream of Coal Filled Boxcars

A few nights ago, I had a dream. I can usually interpret my dreams with some clarity, but this one seemed to have multiple interpretations even though it was very short with few changing scenes.

     There were seven boxcars lined up together on the railroad tracks, there didn’t seem to be an engine, just the boxcars. One by one they dumped their load of coal on the ground next to the tracks. And then I woke up.

     The most obvious conclusion is that we as humans are polluting the world we live in with no regard as to what the consequences are. The second interpretation is that this represents me on a personal level, perhaps meaning it’s time to dump all the toxic thoughts that have been building up inside me throughout my lifetime. And yet there is a third more distressing interpretation that came to mind while I lay in bed thinking about this. As I said there were seven boxcars, why seven?

     Could this dream have a deeper darker meaning. Could the seven boxcars represent the breaking of the seven seals of the Apocalypse? Remember, each boxcar dumped its load one at a time. This, at least to me, seemed to have some significance. I would love other interpretations.

Although I have had some "prophetic" type dreams, I think most of our dreams are more personal...our subconscious or higher self trying to help us work something out on a personal level. Having said that, I think you need to figure out what this dream means to you...maybe your second interpretation? As for the number 7, that could be subjective, as there are so many different meanings/symbolisms attached to the number 7. Without taking more time to ponder, I don't have any interpretation to offer, but these are my initial thoughts. I'm curious to know where this leads!

Actually, had another thought, since coal is a fossil fuel, and because each boxcar dumped itself one at a time, it made me wonder if this was a timeline? Do we have just seven years to stop using these toxic materials before we cross a point of no return?
