In casual conversation, the words fetish and kink are often tossed around interchangeably to mean any sexual desire or proclivity that falls outside the mainstream appetite ― like bondage ...but they are not the same

That does make sense. I had always envisioned it like a conscious dream of sorts. Since so many of my obsessions are based on if I lived in a perfect world with no barriers to achieve nirvana. I can see that fetishes are one step below the achievement of anything, a simple enough proof of concept that dreams are real. Even if they are experienced consciously. What are some of your favorites?

Do some consider spirituality a fetish? I know it is material in nature...but there are those who dabble in darker, experimentation. To me it is a respectable union, and always has been. I do not mind the grey/dark/light mingling of ideas.

I truly admire those who can endure, let alone enjoy, mummification bondage. It must take a great deal of courage, trust, and a frell ton of self understanding. Sometimes I look at certain kinks and I think to myself, "Wow! Imagine what they looked in the eye, stood face to face with, to be able to do something like that." Respect.
