We Remember

We are the children forged in fire, made from the ethers of space

born from the far off star

We remember who we are at last

People from the Great Star Nation

Come to this strange planet

It is not easy here but we are made strong

We are given a human body, we are brave to take it

For once it is given we must watch it get sick and grow old

We are given joy along with sorow... over and over

we are shown hate and love, side by side

Many times, we become Stripped, raw and naked...

we become, undone until all that is left is one ember glowing in the dark.

And, in time, we look at that ember, and realize it is our essence,

Us... at rest, waiting to become again

waiting for a small wind to blow it into a fire once more

We are the brilliance of that one glowing ember that lights up the shadow

we cannot miss it in the blackness that surrounds it and come to understand as we draw closer to it and as it becomes a large burning light that fills the darkness,

it becomes the sun, the moon, the planets and finally, the universe....

We, are that

We are a part of all things

and all the doings and undoings, were just lessons

that we learned along our orbital path

We were always a part of the whole...

the everything.

Nothing could diminish our essence

We remember,

We are the stars

We are Creator
