Death and rebirth

I recently left a community I have been part of for about 8 years now.  I am not going into all the gory details needless to say a clash of personalities took place.  Although I tried to state my case very clearly and openly with a view to having frank and honest dialogue about the issues, it didn't happen.  As one of the founders of the community it also hit me hard as I had been there since the beginning and have a lot of 'family' there.

The 'owner' of the group decided he wanted to play school ground politics and I didn't want to get caught up in this.

I have to say, part of me will always be with all those there and I am hoping some will remain in contact with me for I love them dearly....others I am not so sure about.
What hurt the most is that some people who you'd expect to know better, get caught up in ego, and even though I tried to show them another way, I guess it won't be heard until they are ready to hear it.

 

I left some time ago and as always, the Universe provided, as a couple of weeks before all this took place, I was lead here by Leila.  Then everything went pearshaped at the other place and I left.  After much talking with friends there I went back.

I tried and tried hard to feel back at home but it wasn't the same.

When one group has a set of standards and then expects everyone else to abide by them when they don't, that really gets me mad!  So I became aware of stuff going on behind the scenes and felt I had no option but to leave for good.

I was the Super-moderator on the site and know someone else was just waiting in the wings to take over so that's not a problem.  As I write this I have many tears as I now think the grieving period has set in, which is normal.

 

I think it was said here before about online talking....and the pitfalls it has. No vocal tone, no facial expressions etc can easily lead to things being misunderstood. Online, its even more important to be very clear about what we are trying to say or put across.

 

I think I just needed to get that out and thank you for allowing me the space to do so.

 

I love all my family on the old site much love and wish them nothing but the best of everything.  Just as I wish that for my new family here.
