# 9 Rant concerning 9/11 and the continuing smokescreen

The last time I ranted on 9/11 (on Facebook, my mistake) some folks got really mad and called me an unpatriotic son of a bitch who didn't deserve to live in a free country.  True enough I have never been a patriot and as e e cummings so eloquently wrote " I will not kiss your fucking flag". However,this attitude was construed as an insult to the victims and to the firemen who died doing the most decent thing humans could do. This particular rant was aimed at the constant beating of the "God and Country" drums in connection with 9/11 and the fact there's some mighty important questions that have yet to be answered concerning this event. And now at the 10th anniversary of 9/11 the God and Country drums beat even louder as Americans continue to be shipped home in body bags from Afghanistan. Hey someones got to protect our heroin supply. And just the fuck WHY wasn't there a body to prove Bin Laden was dead. That's why we were there right ? America for the most part bought the "burial at sea"  BULLSHIT. Shame on us for not DEMANDING the truth behind Bin Laden's alleged death. Shit, he could have been dead for five years for all we know. We live in the age of Photoshop and film manipulation (a la Forrest Gump) and truth manipulation ( a la Wag the Dog) and as I said the "burial at sea" was about as fucking lame as it gets.

WE'RE STILL BEING LIED TO but any one with doubts about our government's culpability concerning 9/11 MUST be an "unpatriotic son of a bitch who doesn't deserve to live in a free country."

Hmmm, maybe this IS a rant.

ANYWAY...

The God and Country drums are going full force right now in the media and if its unpatriotic of me not to be moved by any of this flag waving BULLSHIT then color me Commy Red.
