8 of Swords - OPEN OUR EYES !

Many times we feel like we are suffocating from the burdens of this world. We feel that every where we turn, there is something else trying to wear us down, take control, hold us in bondage.

But stop and think for a moment....YOU are in control of you own destiny. Yes the choices of others may have infringed upon your life, but ultimately YOU are still the captain of your own ship.

Think about your situation with a calm, clear mind. Ask yourself ,"Do I have any room to move still?" Most of the time you will find it so.

Take off your blinders, relax and let the worries release you for a moment and look around. We tend to project our own worries onto the world that we see like swords circling our body waiting to strike. But look closer...they are only mental images ! And if they are mental images...from whom are they from? Our own fears ...so don't be fearful...and they will vanish to what they truly are...tiny toothpicks that may pinch and poke us, but do little else to harm.

Everyone needs to step outside of themselves every once in a while and take a breath of fresh air....

.....and OPEN OUR EYES !
