When I started my magical journey, I asked my Aunt who was my guardian at the time to let me leave her country house in Summerville, South Carolina her restrictive Southern Baptist confines, her sister my mother was a Pentecostal Holiness follower but I know believe my mother was a psychic, channeler and a natural witch who ran from her abilities by looking for meaning in the church. Yet the church could not provide her with the answers that she seemed to long for. So after my mothers passing when I was 9, I was sent to live with her older sister who was a Southern Baptist fundamentalist.

Know for those of you who know anything about my story or are curious as to why I am who I am today, and what lead me on this journey of "enlightenment" my story will be shared in posts. Why? Because my family has a history of dementia and I want this to be my record, if I should ever lose my memory and I want people to know how wonderful the craft really was and is too me.

We all have a profound story to tell, so I add mine to the "record" as it is a story that I want those who are thinking of leaving there fundementalist past to know, all religions began as Earth Based magical religions. 

 I told my Aunt at age 17 that I needed to leave her home, she should keep her monthly support that was allowed for my care and let me live my life as I saw fit. Being that I was a natural male witch, I explained to her that the bible had many "pages missing" and I was going to not only seek the truth, but learn and find my own truth, on my own

. After much yelling and screaming and crying, she had to let me go.  So I moved to Downtown, Charleston South Carolina, because this was 1991 and The Arcade Club and Dudleys where Gay Mecca's and I had to be apart of a scene. I quickly was hired as a doorman checking ID's of people who where 20 and 30 years older than me.

I had an unusual style, a natural witch can always spot another. So I was quickly discovered by a certain coven in the "Holy City" as an an unusual, unique and very naive child who was willing to learn the lights in the DJ Booth and turn the Arcade quickly into the Hottest Dance Club in the History of Charleston's club scene. I graduated from the front door to the DJ booth in 2 years, learning how lights and music could change the emotion of a dance floor packed with 500 people, many times the club had to be shut down due to jealous club owners wanting our business, if I only knew now what I know of herbs maybe this would not have happened.

I quickly was taken in by a sweet young lady named Heidi who's last name "phonetically" meant one who enters a door. So she took me under her wing and I quickly learned what Tarot and Wicca and what the Goddess where about, with much more still left to learn at that age. My first real Witches experience was on a rooftop of a certain building in Charleston, and it was a lunar observance.

We all wore robes and held hands and chanted to the Goddess and from that moment at age 19 I was hooked! Even as a child I would have runes and tarot cards, always hidden under my bed, always to be caught and ratted out by my cousins who told on me; I got a reputation of practicing witch craft early on.

I was then moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, this is where I began to learn in the Magical and Mythical Gardens of "Brook Green Gardens"...
