In 1973, I was back packing with some friends in Northern California and we all had long hair and there was a sign that said 'no trespassing' and there was an old guy in front of the sign and I told him (jokingly) 'What gives you the right to put up a fence to keep me out but to keep mother nature in, if God was here he'd tell you to your face that man, your some kind of sinner' and the old guy gave me some long drawn out explanation that he inherited the property from his father and if I wanted to cut across the land, he'd have no problem with that, but I couldn't hunt or camp on it. My friends laughed their asses off but the old guy never understood that I was quoting the lyrics of this song, so that's my story...
