Osiyo,Tommy, I love what you just said ~ how true! We are all the Children of the Divine Feminine, and are infused with the essence of the Goddess. The sooner one realises this, the better life and everything else becomes.

That's fine by me, Xeus ~ various spiritual traditions across the wide range of Pagan beliefs and other religions, honor and venerate the Great Goddess, in a multitude of ways.

The beauty about the Triple Goddess Way, is that every individual, can , should and must follow their inner guidance and choose for themselves the path that suits them best!

And whichever way we choose to go, despite the diffrences in approach, the Goddess is at the root of it all :)

As we are very pleased to have you here with us, Xeus ~

the three distinct archetypal faces  of the Great Goddess, as personified by Maiden, Mother and Crone, reflect directly in our lives as every being goes through the three stages of life, from virginal innocence and purity, to maturity and motherhood, and in the twilight years of accumulated wisdom and experience, we become a mirror image of the Wise Crone, or Dark Mother.

This is totally irrespective of gender type, naturally :)

For me, I enjoy the way in which all three faces of Goddess, blend together effortlessly in one's life path. The energies of Hekate can easily transmute into those of Artemis, Isis or Ereshkigal ~ depending on the situation and circumstances at the time.

Living in tune with the cycles of Nature, feeling the Moon wax and wane, helps me personally to regulate and organise my affairs accordingly. The key to prosperity and abundance on all levels of being, is to once more surrender to the forces of Mother Nature, and simply  "go with the flow" ~ instead of resisting , or fighting against the inevitable. 

The inevitable ?

Everything in Nature, always returns to a state of Equilibrium. We are born, we live, and we wane and die one day. The aware individual knows she is going to die; thus, has nothing to lose, is free of fear and fear-based emotions; and is free to advance unhindered as a result...

Actually, I was thinking about this a bit more deeply last night ~ while it is true that external influences do obviously affect us if we let them; it is also true that it all starts from within.

The programming which we all receive from early childhood onwards, needs to be carefully examined, identified for what it is, and then, something proactive can be done about it.

The old adage "It's all in the mind" is certainly true. We create our own reality as we become more advanced, as what we think, eventually becomes our reality. That is our individual power which must be reclaimed, and one will never get there if the opinions and actions of the world and others are allowed to rule us . We have the power ~ it's how we use it that makes all the difference.

I was doing some Tarot readings last night and the Hermit card came up, appropriately enough. The Hermit allows us to be able to objectively analyse ourselves. The card deals with knowledge of the Inner self ~ as the seeker realises that the answers to all questions, and the solution to all problems, can be found within.

As one progresses on the Path chosen, it becomes clear that we have within us the greatest teachers in the universe. We have access to the Akashic records ~ the collective storehouse of accumulated Wisdom and Knowledge that is available to view, if one but asks.

Tommy , you have another point ~ in that one can only experience the lessons of the Hermit, or solitary, if we consciously separate ourselves from the unstable enegies of others. Who can meditate on a deeper level, if these energies are interfering with our own? Thus, we have to separate ourselves (temporarily) from all of the madness and distractions of society and those around us, if we are to meditate and experience anything of lasting value.

The Key here, is understanding of the Self. "Know Thyself" is the famous dictum of the Mysteries, for without self-knowledge, which is the key to unlocking solutions , conscious awareness cannot rise to the surface.

Greetings, and Blessings to All on this Solar Eclipse and Dark Moon night.

Traditionally, some magickal people make good use of the natural energies around at this time, to get rid of any unwanted attachments, or things that as Tommy mentions, attack from without ~ also, the so-called "inner demons" such as the wrong programming that inhibits one or takes someone away from their true selves; any old unhealthy memories or grudges one may have, only affect the one who is holding these harmful thought-forms within their consciousness.

Well, now is  a very good time, to eliminate the old , and make way for a new and improved way of living.

It's almost like...pruning the old wood from a rose bush , so that it can send out new shoots and bud without anything hindering it's true potential to bloom.

Ma Durga is soft-spoken, sweet, delicate and smiling Goddess ~ yet, Durga can transform into a warrior Goddess perhaps even more ferocious than Andraste or the Morrigan when need be.

Durga and Kali are often viewed as the same Goddess, as in different versions of the legend of the slaying of the demons.

Durga, Kali and Black Tara will mercilessly destroy any demons of the mind, as well as any unwanted attachments , thought-forms or unstable emotional projections of others.

Durga is AWESOME!!!

Strange although maybe not so, that many males resonate with the Divine Feminine, or are more comfortable working with a female Deity.

I relate to Lucifer and Shiva in their Androgynous form. I could never fully click with male Gods. Just me. Perhaps it was all that Christian National Apartheid education programming, who knows?

We can never really KNOW the Goddess ~ any Goddess ~ or God. I came to meet and work with Ganesh , through Durga, just as I realised that Lucifer is the son, brother and other half of Lilith and Diana.
