Thanks, my Goddess sisters and brothers ~ today is a brand new day, so, come what may, I'm making the most of it. 

It's so refreshing to me and brings joy to my soul to be able to come here away from conflict and the pressures of the everyday workaday life , though I do enjoy the work, choosing to see it as a pleasure rather than a burden, as I am doing what I enjoy, everything has a place and time.

I do my best to come to a better understanding of Time ~ it is moving faster than ever ~ I learned that in 1974, 24 hours were a full 24 , and now, only 16.

That is why each day seems shorter ~ it is as if Time is being consumed "faster" as we enter this time of Cosmic energy shifts. 

Cian has posted a wonderful article on the Transit of Venus in the Astrology group, This Cosmic event happens this coming week ~ a great opportunity to make creative and beneficial changes, leaving the old "skin" behind, and moving forward again with new levels of vitality and exploring new horizons.

Venus is a Goddess of Love and Death;

and so, I found these words by the Taoist Master Lao Tzu, an absorbing meditation this fine morning, as the stars faded from view, and the golden , glowing orb of Amaterasu rose above the horizon ~

"If you stay in the centre,

and embrace Death with all your heart,

you will endure forever"

"Whoever is planted in the Tao,

will not be rooted up.

Whoever embraces the Tao

will not slip away"

"In harmony with the Tao,

the sky is clear and spacious,

the earth is solid and full,

all creatures flourish together.

Content with the way they are,

endlessly repeating themselves,

endlessly renewed"

and,

"The Tao is called the Great Mother:

empty yet inexhaustible,

it gives birth to infinite worlds.

It is always present within you,

You can use it any way you want"

I have posted a discussion on sacred geometry, which expands on Spirals. Spirals are the symbol of the Great Goddess, as all things come from the Goddess, and all things return again. This is why the spiral is also a symbol of Infinity.

When we reach the true centre, we discover that the journey to the Dark Mother does not mean the end , it is only just the beginning! To begin the  journey, we must defeat our fears and set ourselves free with the magick words that only the seeker knows, at the centre of the spiral labyrinth.

The spiral never ends, as death is only a temporary phase in the infinite cycles of Life. That is why our Ancestors, and contemporary Nature Pagans and Goddessians, among others, celebrate Death! Death is after all, the beginning of the greatest adventure of a lifetime.

And, Death is not only a physical death, it is all endings and new beginnings. We shed the old, to be able to rejuvenate  and advance.
