Shh...can you hear it?
A gentle thud, thud, thud?
Listen with your heart
for she is calling you.

What is it you hear?
Her heart, her voice.
She talks to you with her heart.
She reaches out to you
with her beauty.

Who is she?
Why do I love her so?
Place your hand on her breast
Feel her heart beating...
Her skin so soft.

Lay on her grassy knoll
and hear her calling you
with a gentle whisper of a breeze.
Hear her heart beating inside
the ground where you lay.

Water runs off her from the waterfall
over the rocks,
cascading over little pebbles in her rivers.
She is alive and she loves me
she cares for me.

She gives shelter and nourishment.
She gives all that we need.
Mother Earth, Mother Nature.
My sister and my mother.
All life is one and all life is love.

Her tall sentinels stand guard.
Green giants to protect and keep watch.
Her sister lights our way at night,
her fullness magical and wonderful.
Her children watch from afar,
shimmering and twinkling.
Showing we are never alone.

I am currently on a path which has been laid out before me. 
I have no fear of this for it is what I am to do. 
I know I shall be protected and kept safe. 
I trust in those who are to assist but 
I know I must do what I need to do alone.
It is part of my growth. 
It is part of life's wonderful cycle. 
It is part of a promise I made eons ago.
The Ancient in me hears her call.
And I have no choice but to answer her.
