Yes, I have lived in New Jersey, New York , North Carolina and Santa Fe and Albuquerque in New Mexico, all of which get a lot of snow in the winters, however, in Santa Fe it lasts for eight months, and they say in Spanish:

Ocho meses de invierno

y cuatro meses de infierno  

which means:

Eight months of winter and four months of Hell!

Where do you live, Mystic Wolf? 

I have lived in plenty places with snow, but I chose to be now in the North San Diego County, because, by the Beach, where I live there is never any snow!

I don't miss it!

I LOVE the winter pictures Ghillie Dhu! They look beautiful. We haven't had any snow throughout December. The last time it did not snow in December was in 1950. I miss the snow.
