It is no secret that the collective is sick. Rates of obesity, cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, cancer, autoimmune diseases, and various other chronic illnesses are higher than they have ever been. Uncovering why this is so would take an article in its own right, but we can think of this state of our collective in relation to health on each level – physical, as well as emotional, mental, and spiritual – as misalignment. It may be discussed within spiritual circles that a breatharian lifestyle, that is, living off prana, chi, or life force energy, is the future of humanity. However, we must honor where we are before we can transcend to where we are not. We must find alignment within our current frequency match to food and external nourishment and undergo deep rounds of physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual detoxification to cleanse any and all toxins, including limiting beliefs, lower based emotions, and physical illness, before we could entertain the thought of a breatharian lifestyle, or be a long-term frequency match to this way of living.

Humanity is ascending, and through this ascension process, we are becoming more and more aware of the integrated, holistic nature of Self. What affects us physically has also affected us mentally and emotionally, and vice versa, as there is no separation of Self. With this in mind, nutrition can be thought of as a physical tool that may be utilized for the benefit of our holistic health and to assist our detoxification process. As we raise our physical frequency with the use of high frequency foods, no longer will we be a match to lower energies. Suppressed emotions will resurface in order to be expressed and released. We will come face to face with the nature of our reality, recognizing the power of the mind, and make the conscious choice to feed the reality we desire to create and not the one we fear. In doing so, we heal our physicality from the inside out. As we clear out these lower energies, we make space for higher energies to enter in their place, opening us up to spiritual activations, heightened dominant abilities, and the opening of our less dominant, complimentary gifts.

So, what can you do to embark on your path, utilizing nutrition to assist your ascension process? First, be aware of your current embodiment. What physical symptoms or complaints do you have? Do you have a long withstanding chronic illness? What is your belief system regarding your physical issues? Do you believe in the body’s ability to heal itself? I can assure you that, if there is a strong enough belief system in place, your body will find a way to heal. The “how” is irrelevant from this perspective. For what you believe, you receive. Via the Laws of Attraction and Resonance, you will align with health and well-being. There is no other way. Perhaps your intuition will guide you to the right practitioner, supplements, or health information. Perhaps you will have hunches of what foods to eat. However your Higher Self speaks to you, you will receive the necessary information and heal. Along the way, be mindful of your thoughts. Work your way into staying in the frequency of health. Day dream about what it would be like to be in a state of health. What would you do, and, more importantly, how would you feel? Conversely, whenever you find yourself having a negative thought stream in relation to your health, catch yourself, and transmute. Recognize that these thoughts stem from ego. They are not of Divinity, and they are not real. What gives them life is your focus upon them. Release your focus, and they do not exist.

It is also important to hold allowance toward your current state of being and all this entails. Through allowance births acceptance, and through acceptance births self-love. I recognized the importance of this in my own nutrition and self-love journey. For years I struggled with body acceptance and a dysfunctional relationship with food. At first this manifested as anorexia and bulimia. Once my body was done with the restriction of food, the polar end of the spectrum manifested as binge eating. My comfort was in binging late at night, alone in my room. However, I held so much resistance towards this and my eating patterns in general. I felt shame for binging. I rejected the fact that I did it. I kept trying to change myself and my habits, until I had an epiphany. I recognized I was in such a state of resistance towards myself and my eating habits, and whatever resists, persists. I vowed to myself to allow myself to be, binge eating and all. As counter intuitive as it sounds, I allowed myself to binge. I allowed myself to eat as much as I wanted, and only from this point of true allowance, did my binge eating habits begin to subside. I no longer binge eat, and my self-acceptance is greater than it has ever been. Try to practice allowance in your relationship with Self. Identify the various aspects which hold resistance, and release them into the state of being. This does not mean you are giving up on whatever health goals you have in mind. It simply means you no longer have to try so hard, because “trying” has kept you exactly where you are. Your bliss, joy, peace, and purpose are all downstream. Go with the flow, and trust in your Higher Self, who is leading the way, effortlessly, with ease, through you.

As you continue to allow yourself to be as you are, you will be faced with various mental and emotional triggers. Be mindful that they are arising in order to be cleansed, purged, and released. This is mental and emotional detoxification. As these triggers come to surface, be present with yourself, and give your inner child what he or she needs. Be gentle, forgiving, and compassionate with yourself and your experiences. You are worthy in all that you are.

While allowing yourself to be as you are, you will learn how to allow your previously rejected food habits. While on the surface this may not make sense, as perhaps this means allowing your suppressed sweet tooth, for example, remember that our Higher Self is always guiding us. Eventually, or even right away, you will transcend that which no longer serves you, including various foods or food groups, not because you tried or worked to give them up, but because you naturally, effortlessly, and easily aligned with this new way of being. This is the point where we begin to open up ourselves to intuitive eating or eating what is in a higher alignment for our soul based on the intuitive knowledge we receive. You may have a craving for a specific type of fruit or vegetable. Trust this feeling, as there is always a physiological reason behind it. You may crave sautéed spinach, for example, when your body is low in iron. At this point, it is important to start educating yourself about the frequencies and health properties of foods. This can be tough to do in our current society, which is filled with contradictory information throughout the internet. If you are confused or conflicted, check in with yourself. Go within. How does a piece of information feel? Does it resonate with you? It is important to be mindful of the fact that no two bodies, just as no two souls, are the same. Thus, foods will affect each individual differently, explaining why similar studies often produce various results, once you consider the individuality of each physical vessel.

Focus upon what foods you should add to your diet, rather than what you should take away, keeping you out of a lack mindset. As you incorporate more and more higher frequency foods, doing the mental and emotional detoxification that comes alongside, the foods or food groups which are not in your new alignment will no longer be of a temptation to you, as you are simply no longer a resonance to them. So, it is not necessary to try so hard. When clients come to me for help, the primary thing I focus upon in terms of diet is the heavy consumption of fruits and vegetables, both raw and cooked. Fruits and vegetables are of the highest frequency, while having a higher water and micronutrient (vitamins and minerals) content. A good rule of thumb is to aim for variety of produce within the color spectrum: reds, oranges, yellows, greens, blues, indigos, violets, and whites. Doing so assures the intake of a variety of vitamins and minerals. This is also a valuable technique to use to balance your chakras via nutrition.

It is a common misconception that a plant based diet lacks crucial nutrients, such as protein, iron, and vitamin B12. But this is just that, a misconception. All fruits and vegetables contain protein. In fact, all protein originates from plants. Animal protein is merely reconstituted plant protein. The modern world more commonly intakes too much protein than it does too little, so it is truly unnecessary to stress over your protein intake. Iron is readily available within nuts, seeds, legumes, and various vegetables such as spinach and swiss chard. The biggest misconception involves vitamin B12. I was even taught in undergraduate and graduate schools that there are no plant based sources of B12, but I have come to learn that this is false. Crimini mushrooms, chlorella, and aloe vera are some proven plant based sources of B12.

Along with a high produce intake, aim to supplement your diet with various herbs and spices, i.e. plant medicine. See what resonates with you, as there is certainly a physiological reason behind your resonance. Turmeric, ginger, basil, sage, bay, black pepper, cilantro, and coriander are just some of the various herbs and spices available for you to incorporate within your new diet and ascension process. In addition, take supplements to assist your detoxification process. Food grade diatomaceous earth helps to purge environmental toxins, fluoride, and parasites. Activated charcoal is a black powder which pulls out any bodily toxins. Chlorophyll is the green pigment found in plants which can assist the liver’s natural detoxification process. Lastly, drink plenty of water and fluids such as herbal teas and natural juices to flush your system and all the physical, mental, and emotional toxins you have been purging.

Overall, allow yourself to be as you are, while holding the belief that your Higher Self is guiding you along the path of ascension and the specific diet which is best for you in any given moment. If you perceive yourself to have a regression within your diet or your journey, understand how we often revisit lessons which have not been fully integrated. Keep going. Trust your path, and trust yourself. The universe is always conspiring in your favor, and this knowledge alone can transform your outlook on your current health status, diet, and spiritual journey.
