Leo season is in full swing, headlining a time abundant with fiery energies. This morning we start our day with the moon in Sagittarius and end with it in Capricorn, a transition that highlights our sense of confidence. Cast this spell to help reveal deeper layers of hidden confidence.All you need is an orange candle in a holder and a mirror. Place the candle between yourself and the mirror, light it, and then look into your own eyes via the reflection in the mirror. Stare into your pupils and recite the following chant four times.Inner lion from my soul, I am a beast they can't control!Visualize your eyes glowing orange as you chant and then settle back to normal when done. Damballah and Ayida-Wedo are a power Haitian lwa couple. Damballah is seen as a serpent, whereas AyidaWedo is the rainbow. Dedicated to each other, they are a close-knit couple. Here is a way to entice their loving and protective energy into your life. Like many of us, they love food. The pair have a predilection for white foods, so here is an appropriate way to please them.Lay out a sky-blue cloth. Put 3D images of a snake and a rainbow on top. Get yourself one or more roses today to express and magnify self-love while shifting your personal energy for the better. Pink roses will warm and sweeten your heart, red roses will recharge your batteries and remove blocks, orange will call in abundance, yellow will clarify your thoughts, peach will awaken your senses, and white will purify your aura and heal old pain. If you wish, you can also scatter rose petals on your bathwater or mist your body and space with rose water to lift your vibration and align you with the most positive of all energies, which is pure love. Use this spell to encourage love and harmony in your home. You'll need some jasmine or vanilla essential oil. Vanilla extract can also be used. You'll also need some powdered allspice. Go to each door in your home, both interior and exterior, and do the following. Begin by cleaning the door itself, wiping down the surfaces and the doorknob, cleaning any glass, and sweeping or vacuuming the surrounding floor. Dab the jasmine or vanilla oil or extract on your fingertip and trace a circle around each doorknob as you say:Love dwells here! At the exterior doors, sprinkle a line of allspice across the threshold and say:Magick and love may come on in! If you have a welcome mat near any of your doors, you can anoint it also with the jasmine or vanilla and give it a sprinkle of the allspice. When practitioners of the Craft are ready to take their spiritual practices further, they will seek out a patron deity to work more closely with. Though not a necessity, this can help you focus your practice and spellwork. When beginning your exploration, it can be helpful to identify several gods and goddesses that you have an affinity for. Sit in a quiet space and clear your mind. Safely light a candle or incense if that helps you focus. Take a deep breath and relax, pulling into your mind the different deities. As you do so, make a note of any who seem especially vibrant or who demand your attention. Write down any deity who makes their presence known to you and the way they do so.
