Interesting Group Header Caption, Linda. I don't know that the advice about getting acquainted with the inner "Divine Badass" would be a good idea for me of late, though. It might be necessary at times, but I'm too prone to anger about a great many things I can't change alone, except for myself. I spent a lot of my earlier years actually afraid of my temper because of almost smothering a neighborhood bully when I was not quite eight, and had a horrid overreaction which resulted in a partial emotional shut-down. Once I was forced to re-engage it to protect an infant almost 34 years ago, the feelings came out largely amplified beyond reasonable levels, at least until I evolved a discipline of getting away from others to vent. I'm now OK with getting angry as needed, as long as I continue to not letting it translate into violent action except in life-threatening emergencies, and even then maintaining a modicum of restraint.

Actually, I just realized a tidbit which works quite well for me. Always start with attending to outstanding business at home first, then the rest falls into place. Unfortunately, being in a subsidized housing facility which was undergoing renovation (floor-by-floor), that also meant tidying up after the "contractors" during this COVID thingie. Rather a catch-22 situation with a leasing office manager who tended to yell at those who disagree with her, as they can't keep any maintenance people as a result. Oh, well, I'm back to documenting everything again - glad I just got this desktop up and running on Linux, that ought to make things a lot easier.

This may or may not be considered self-empowerment, but I started making myself get up earlier in the mornings to try to reset my circadian rhythm or inner clock or whatever you want to call it, and to hopefully help me feel better and less sad in the mornings. I have been waking up earlier at the same time for over a week now, and I do feel better in the mornings, although I did have my doubts about how well it would work!
