Perhaps one of the most sophisticated fliers on the Earth, these beautiful birds weave in and out of branches without rustling a leaf. The hummingbird is both strong and beautiful, possessing a unique sort of delicate beauty and mastery that few birds can compete with.

1. Anna's Hummingbird

Capturing the hummingbird in flight is no easy feat - this pretty bird flaps its wings as fast as 52 beats per second, making it challenging to capture its grace and swift motion clearly.

Hummingbirds may be small, but the weight of their brain makes up 4.2 percent of their body weight - the largest proportion in the bird kingdom.
