How old ARE the Old Ways, actually?

The world's oldest known human fossil footprint, found in Kenya in Africa.

It is estimated to be around 1.5 million years old, and it is of a human being (homo sapiens sapiens) not that of a hominid or ape-man from whom we were supposed to be descended..

This certainly puts things into a rather different perspective.

Aside from anything else it seems as if the records of the past should be extended past the theoretical 6 or 10 000 year mark, past 30 000 years and past a million, indeed.

What happened in between? How intriguing.

Which young lady made this footprint in the soft sand in Tanzania all those many generations ago? And how many ancestral children did she bear?

The fact that human footprints have been found in Texas mingled with those of dinosaurs again proves the classical theories of the evolution of the human race to be wrong, that's about that.

And what of the first forms of spirituality, one may then ask?

Was there a Devil, or a Saviour, or a supreme male God in those days?

No, there was Nature, and ways of living in tune with Her.

Hm to me "Old Ways" refers to pre christian beliefs and cosmologies. Which have had its views and riddled clues inbetween folktales and legends. Though depending on region and country it can differ greatly.
