as It is very informative to questions that I seek.
I have lived my entire life (55) knowing things,
but It wasn't until the past few days I ran into by
chance ( or was I drawn to It ) the word Empath.
My mother died when I was a year & 12 days old,
so I had just thought or took for granted that I
was " Spiritually Orphaned ".
Even as a young child I could sense more than the ordinary.
I'd walk into rooms with people & be drained by whatever
negative energy or even better I would energize a room .
I have throughout my life had deep intensified dreams as if
it where revealing things to me. Dreams of traveling distant places.
I was always drawn into the Ocean by which I lived , feeling at Home by bodies of water. I have those emotional encounters that I dubbed " A whirlwind of insanity " like a fierce storm approaching that would overwhelm me with emotion. I have always been drawn to people with sadness , as I see it in their Eye's. Always having a deep empathy of understanding to all I have encountered , giving words of wisdom & comfort from a deep well of understanding from the experiences of needless self inflicted suffering. I have seen a glimpse or a glimmer of what Heaven was in what i call my " Holy Instant " when the Spiritual realm was opened up to me.
I always have been a healer of sorts be It either words of endearing compassion or the warmth of me placing hands on People. I am gifted in the Arts especially in Spiritual Poetry & writing's that " Uplift those that go through uncertainties in Life"
I have dwelt in the darkness of the abyss plagued with Addictions that robbed my very soul... only for some Being of Light to grasp hold of a soul I no longer seemed to want.

* I could go on & on , so this is a brief part of what I have experienced , & to find the word Empath... is to add a piece of a puzzle of who I am...

Hello All.....

I joined a few days ago. I like the premise, design and friendliness of this site.

 

So much to learn. I would classify myself as a seeker.....but then I remember Firesign Theatre paraphrasing PT Barnum and saying, "There is a seeker born every minute".

 

I look forward to expanding my knowledge and learning from this group..........and contributing where/when I can.

Good Morning :)
I was invited to this site through a couple of channels. I believe I have been guided here, as I work toward fully living with my psychic abilities. I have been working very hard with what I have always held as simply strong intuition, since I was told that I have the mark of the blue moon on my forehead. I am getting stronger every day, & my visions, dreams & synchronicity is just exploding!!!
Loving it!!! I'm on the right path for me, finally!!
