Oh, Mark, these are sublime. My favorite is "Maya"...just grabs my heart with a resounding whispered 'yes'.

You ain't no slouch on the haiku amigo, I dug this one a bunch. I love the haiku form as it teaches us to look at things in their most basic essence and as a result we get a deeper understanding of the thing described. The pure haiku form even uses noises in its content though I'm not sure how to put that on paper. Maybe this current activity here will attract other haiku enthusiasts. Thanks so much Nigel. marK
