More about trucking and my experiences..

I left off the last post on all of the negative things in trucking, so I suppose it is time to write what I feel is the good points.. I may add on more of the negative bits that I had forgotten in the previous post, so bare with me while you read this. Going out for the road the first time, was like seeing a different world, at least for me.. The miles just flew by while my mind drifted off into my imagination.. I have gotten to see the beauty here.. Rolling mountains, and small waterfalls.. Cliffs that were man made, to make the extensive road system that covers this country.. Trees at every corner, and stunning water ways that take your breath away.. Between these beautiful places is enormous fields of crops that stretch for miles in each state.. But it is worth it at the end.. The wait for these breath taking places... The places you get to see on these journeys make some of the wretches of truck driving worth it for a while.. The stunning and unique buildings while going through major cities leave you in awe.. Not only at their beauty but their sheer size.  Texas in my opinion is more of the place to go to see such buildings.. And their bridges, each one unique with a different style for each town/city... The first time I went through Dallas, was night time, and their tall buildings were lit up, reflecting off of each other creating what felt like a light show.. The horrid bits of going through such large cities, though the sites are amazing, the traffic and the stress of people speeding in and out of each other takes away some of the enjoyment of your surroundings.. if you can tolerate hours of staying still and creeping while people cut you off and speed in front of you, then you will do fine in that environment, I for one did not and it had given me quite a bit of anxiety. My favorite part of my adventure was going to the top of mountains at night overlooking  cities twinkling in the distance.. I could go on and on of the places I've seen.. But I feel that will take to long to write out, so I will leave it at that.. My main point is if you can get through everything else that is negative about trucking, then you may find it worth it.. Will say after a while places do start to look the same..
