So I went to see my mom in the hospital today, she woke up a little and looked at me, I showed her some pictures of the kids; some were of Jakey's birthday party over Valentines and she got a little excited. Her eyes actually opened wider when I showed her a few of the pictures, however she still slipped in and out of consciousness.

It's really sad that she isn't able to spend time with us like she used to, see the kids growing... My niece is pregnant and because of the cancer my mom may not even get to see the baby when it's born. Life comes at you fast... and sometimes it just slaps you right in the face, then you just have to grin, bear it and thank the Gods and Goddesses for the life you had and have left.
