Howdy y'all,

Sorry I haven't been around for such a long time. It's been hectic here for months, with a new crisis every day. We've lost about 9 animals in the last 8 months and gotten in about 10 animals, so we still have around 35 animals and no help. Just Dave and me, and he is workin' fulltime and any overtime he can get, to pay for feed, medicine, treatments and vet visits. As donations are scarce and volunteers are not happenin'.

But we do have another way of gettin'…

I really don't know what to say about myself, since I don't know anyone here. I'm 68, a disabled Nam vet and a retired registered nurse. I live in the desert, a recluse,I guess. I have some health issues that I have been told are terminal, but I'm still here. There's still lessons I need to learn and things I need to do.
