Hey, Robert O, yes, I DO know why I wish to support Ukraine, though it looks like Linda M. already mentioned a viewpoint I happen to share, concerning some of Biden's policies vs. Former-president "Faux-Pas" (as I'd nicknamed him) Trump's. Also, only the despicable indiscriminately target civilians as well as standing militias, so let me think - YES! The Chicken Kiev was quite good, actually - and Linda, I'd already checked, and it looks like Kyiv really IS a Ukrainian city. Actually, next time I'm figuring to add a little twist and make "Game Hen Kiev" - appropriate, since I've got a bit of Welsh ancestry, ar ar.

RobertO, I actually do know and support Ukraine.  Moreover, I trust our current president more than the last one.  No matter what, people, civilians do not deserve to be tortured and killed.  And Russia should not just assume Ukraine will want to come back to "the union":  they did not throw flowers in the streets at his solders like he thought, they deserve their freedom.

This may not be much, but I'm showing a bit of support for Ukraine by cooking up a recipe for "Chicken Kiev". I'd first encountered the dish a little over 30 years ago, with a Brie cheese variant added to the recipe, and really liked it. So I just looked up and printed the recipe for it, though I'll have to improvise on adding the Brie to it. I REALLY don't like what Putin's doing with all the oppressive actions, and the main reason is most likely all the resources Russia lost when Ukraine splintered from the USSR, along with nine other territories. As I said, it may not be much, but it's something, right?
