Welcome to the group!

The worship of the Goddess and God of Nature is incomplete without the embracing of both Yin and Yang; female and male; Night and Day, Water and Fire. A balanced spiritual seeker will know that it is within that balance that eternal happiness, contentment and prosperity on all levels manifests.

Most Gods were actually Goddesses originally ~ and as the God comes from within the Goddess; Light from Darkness; this group is here for those who understand the working of Nature, where all is equal and nothing is above any other.

The God is the consort, brother, child, husband and other half of the Great Goddess, who was First; and we are here to honour this Perfect Androgyny in male form.

Our God of Many Names is not the authoritative, stern male god of the patriarchy; rather , we venerate the Divine Masculine Principle of the Universe as the complementary Light side of the infinite Darkness in masculine form.

Blessed Be X

He found that the way to halt suffering, was to accept that the spirit dwells within our own bodies.

My pleasure, Sam. It would be a pity not to share with the few who are actually awake amongst this sleeping world we walk in. Thanks for your comments:)

Hi Sophie ~ love you XXX Blessed Be, in Love and Light XXX

Hapi is one of the most important of the ancient Egyptian Gods. Hapi is the husband and consort of the Cobra Goddess, Wadjet; and is Androgynous, having both breasts and male genitalia.

Hapi is androgynous as androgyny is within all things in the natural universe, a reflection of the Macrocosmic reality, and so the ancients portrayed many divinities as such.

Hapi is the god of the Nile River, which naturally the Egyptians saw as reflecting the Milky Way which is the breast milk of the Great Goddess. Thus, they experienced the celestial river as the waters of life.

Before the construction of the High Aswan dam, which blocked the Nile and changed the nature of the delta forever, the waters would reach right up to the Temple of Anubis (currently known as the Sphinx) in season, after the rains in the highlands of Ethiopia resulted in annual flooding of the river basin.

As the bringer of the waters in the right season, Hapi was thus venerated all along the river by the people as a fertility god helping by the beneficient channelling of natural forces to bring fish and all of the varied and disease-resistant crops to the table, by ensuring that the annual inundation of the river valley deposited just enough rich silt onto the lands ready for planting up and growing crops on. Hapi encourages us to keep the waters pure, as water and the quality of the waters within and without, are so vital for health and a long and productive life.

Hapi is blue in complexion, and resembles Shiva Ardhanarisa.

Wadjet and Hapi were among the few divinities venerated by people of both Kingdoms. Thus, together they are seen as the unifiers of the red and white. Hapi ties the knot, which seals the unity and equality between the two kingdoms in the same way as male and female combine within Hapi.

Hapi really inspires me, with the natural flow of Yin and Yang which he embodies. Peace within, and hapiness (yes, there's a pun in there somewhere:), only comes to balanced people who are ready for success in all they set their will to ~

~ So, Peace and hapi-ness to you!
