Lavender-Rosemary Wreath for Home Protection

Not everyone likes their house wards and other things to be so obvious. Sometimes a nice wreath empowered and hung on the door can do a might fine job and look pretty in the process. This one utilizes Lavender and Rosemary (optional) to ward against negativity, protect the house and it’s inhabitants, as well as encourage calm emotions, love, and happiness. 

Materials:

• Fresh or dried Lavender stems with flowers
• Fresh or dried Rosemary stems with leaves
• A wire heart base, or enough florist’s wire to make one yourself
• Appropriate cutting tools for wire and thread if necessary
• Transparent thread or fishing line to secure the stems to the base
• Ribbons, Bobbles, and other decorative items
• Ribbon for hanging.

Directions:

1. Get all of your supplies together
2. If you bought a pre-shaped wire base, move onto the next step. If you’re constructing your own, take and cut two portions of florist wire in approximately equal lengths, as large as you’d like your wreath to be.
3. Twist two of the ends together, and shape the upper portions into curves angled in, then twist the ends of those together to make a heart.
4. Attach the decorative ribbon for hanging into place, tying one side of the ribbon to each side of the heart.
5. Starting from the top of the heart, begin to wrap the wire in Lavender and Rosemary stems, securing each level with the fishing twine or clear string while visualizing the wreath bringing positive emotions to all those who enter your house, and protecting it from negativity, and other entities who wish it’s inhabitants harm.
6. Repeat process, layering the Lavender and Rosemary stems, continuing the visualization process until you build up an even coverage and reach the end.
7. Tie the length of decorative ribbon and any bobbles and charms you want to add around the bottom of the heart and stems, visualizing the spell ending while saying “This is my wish, this is my will, with this ribbon, this ward I seal.” 
8. Attach the appropriate items to your door to hang the wreath, and hang it up!
