Hocus Pocus ...It's SHOWTIME !!

01 The Magician

POW ! In your face with a splash of "Oh Yeah!" That's my first impression of this card. You can feel the positive energy the Magician is creating. The Fool has opened up her animal friend backpack and let loose with her precious tools (wands, cups, swords, and pentacles all shown literally in playing cards). The goth makeup from the previous card is gone, replaced with vibrant shades of purple and shimmering magic from her wand which she waves with skill and certainty. Her hair and makeup have taken a more bird-like quality to them emphasizing a proud peacock display of confidence.

With her wand she has transformed her Moogle backpack into a mystical black cat familiar to help with her show, guarding her "bird cage" while she runs free to create her world around her.

Ms. Lady Magician is all about action and initiative as seen by her lifting one leg, as if to begin a twirl while juggling the cards in the air at the same time. Everything is moving around her...flowing in all directions yet as one movement...one purpose....ONE SHOW !! The audience has come to see this lady take charge of the stage...a stage built especially for her...because it IS HER!

These are the negative forces in her life that have darkened her world but thanks to her action, have now been pushed back to the corners of the card (notice the spider web in the bottom right corner along with the dark vines around the perimeter).

I couldn't have dreamed up this card if I wanted to because of the symbolism contained within this photo from http://lillucyka.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d200wpl. The more I meditate on it, the more I see and understand that The Magician is here to help and get the show on the road...because...
