"Understanding: Stop imagining a new start to your life...

...and just START !"

   I know much has been said about the spirituality of Dec 21, 2012 being a "new beginning". I won't suggest this day had any importance or not, but I will suggest something to go along with the idea of "new beginnings".

   The Page of Cups has a wonderful imagination. He/she is about looking at the world with the mind of a child, seeing endless possibilities within his cup he holds, and eager to try them all out ! Have you ever seen a young child sneak into the kitchen for a snack they weren't supposed to have (such as a cookie), and find ways not to be noticed?

   I know my kids could have grown up to be master catburglars they were so good at disguising their noise while pillaging the cookie jar in our home! Once they set their minds to it, a battle of wits began between the grown up parents and the cookie-monster children. Needless to say both sides won at times (thank goodness they're past that stage !).

   The Osho card I chose with the bird in the cage is just an illusion. True there are bars...but there never was a door ! The bird seemed to have missed that detail and thought she had to remain inside until someone...something...or some 'TIME" (like Dec 21st) let her out to fly with the others. This card is about "Understanding" (or in her case "Mis-understanding").

   As special as it may seem to wait for an important day (like a holiday or when massive amounts of people seem to want to join in on something on a certain day), it usually is best to follow your heart where it leads you and fly your own path...when you feel the need...when YOU feel ready ! Do I believe Dec 21st was a special day? Yes. I also believe today and tomorrow are special days, too, since I can choose whatever I wish on those days just the same !

"The door to a new time is opening for you !"

...and it's called 'TOMORROW' !
