Who do YOU Trust ???

I was 8 years old when President Kennedy was shot and I remember even then many folks weren't buying the explanations for some very convoluted and hidden events surrounding the killing of JFK. However, we grieved, got on with our lives and waited for the Warren Commission Report which still wasn't a very satisfying explanation and folks started having VERY serious doubts about the veracity of the folks who ran our country. And though the doubts remained most of us employed our "Ignore" functions so we could "just get on with our lives" which was cool for many of us who had something to work with, lifewise that is. Now that the American Dream has gone into default through de frauds who run things our "Ignore" functions are a moot point. Can't ignore the fact that more and more of your friends are living in lesser and lesser circumstances than say, five years ago. Can't ignore that copper theft and meth labs are the only growth industries in your part of the Rust Belt.

 

We're not in the Soylent Green phase...YET. I've been hoarding Spam though just in case. And besides, I quite enjoy it flash fried with a nice crisp outer edge and served on white bread with some mayo. Fried baloney sandwiches are an old favorite as well. I am proud to say I am 56 years old and have only used an oven for anything other than frozen pizzas on one occasion when I successfully cooked a chicken. I figured I should stop while I was ahead. I'm really not too heavy into the big meal ritual many are into. I HATE to Bar B Cue and only did it once. Does that make me a Commie ?!?! (Probably)

I did use to enjoy roasting wieners by using the gas jets on the stove as a campfire.I also discovered that spraying the citric acid out of an orange peel into a gas jet produces colorful sparks. I was a real firebug as a kid and would build towns out of toothpicks, populate them with plastic toy soldiers and BURN THEM TO THE GROUND !!!! Both of my friend Steve's parents smoked so I always had access to matches. Despite this abberation I emerged from childhood and developed normaslly from there on.
