But seriously folks...

Who won the Sexual Revolution ?

Now that the smoke has cleared from a generation or so of divorces, STDs, abortions and name calling let's tally up the body count and see who won, Venus or Mars, Darren or Samantha ?

Kids of course were the biggest losers. Despite Madonna's and Helen Reddy's praise of single motherhood the kids were pretty much thrown to the wolves (in all their various forms, from Mom's psychotic boyfriend who will occasionally shake one to death or to the various institutional father substitutes).

Although a few women gained financially, most (especially the single moms) took a major step down. So did their children.

Lots of men simply ceased giving a shit about starting a family they'd probably lose anyway.

 AND THE WINNER IS...

Time for a lo-fi film

We had some tornadoes come through town tonight and I was spared though I don't know why . Your life CAN change in an instant and the chances for that happening get better and better in this wacky Economy/Culture/ Religion we find ourselves in by no fault of our own.
